We left Elizabeth City, NC on Friday morning and anchored just before the beginning of the Alligator - Pungo River canal. We started out again this morning down the canal, stopping in Belhaven for fuel. We now anchored just shy of the Pamlico River which we will cross tomorrow.

We had rain most if the time we were in Elizabeth City and it has been overcast and cloudy today. The weather is supposed to be this way for another week. I'm hoping the sun shines a little once in awhile as it is just a little gloomy.

Since we're retracing our route from earlier when we went north, I haven't taken many pictures. Once the sun comes out again, I'll start snapping some again.
