I've been doing a little fishing (not catching) and a little biking (bicycle not motorcycle). It's hard to believe, but anywhere I go on the bicycle, it's uphill going and coming!!
I'm talking to a lot of people and still learning how to fish for the Cutthroat, Rainbow and Lake trout that's up here. They are a lot more "spooky" than what I'm used to back east. And I'm not into fly fishing, so I'm trying to master the spinning rod technique. I have caught one pretty nice Cutthroat.
Well, since things are a little slow I thought I'd post a few more pictures I've taken while here. I hope I don't post any duplicates but if I do, you'll have to forgive me.
Snow melt makes it's own path. Black & White or Color. What do you think?
Flathead River outside Glacier
the "DesMet". Old boat used for rides on Lake McDonald
"Red Bus" One of the original, restored buses used for paid tours. There are also "free"shuttles being used in the park again this year. I say "free" cause, it's our tax dollars.
Yep, it's a couple of deer!!! I promise bigger and better animals when the roads open up.
There is an Elk looking at you in the center of this picture. Double click the pic and it should enlarge.
Another snow capped mountain.
Later!!!!
